You Are Who You Are

Today we read the book, Girls Can! Make it happen by Rick Kupchella.
In this book we learned about 3 wonderful women:
Sandra Day O'Connor
Jackie Joyner-Kersee
Sally Ride

We then created a brainstorm of all of the things we feel girls are. Girls are:

• intelligent


• strong


• talented


• brave and strong


• beautiful


• positive


• respectful


• peaceful


• cool


• awesome


• wonderful

Girls can...

• sing


• read


• drive


• write


• dream


• run


• lead


• do anything


• make a difference!

We then practiced this through drama. We slowly transformed into who we visioned ourselves to be when we grow up. We then used corridor of voices to explore this.
